ExCyte™

Extracellular Vesicle

Until recently, exosomes were thought to simply be a cellular component responsible for offloading cellular waste. In the past ten years, cellular biologists have come to realize that exosomes, a type of extracellular vesicle, are in fact of enormous biological interest. Exosome release is a regulated process and these vesicles play a role in cell signal transduction. They may also be involved in tissue regeneration.  Now, exosomes are considered an exciting field of cellular biology with possible real-world clinical applications.

You can rely on our highly purified and highly concentrated product known as ExCyte™.

Adult stem cells do not become engrafted. They do not become other types of cells. They are designed to heal, and they heal through peregrine activity. Once they find inflamed cells, they secrete many factors,  “The secretome,” including exosomes. They carry proteins in microRNA, et cetera. Through the cell membrane, and have the ability to turn on the healing and regenerative capacity of the damaged or inflamed cell.
